Eric Noffz
Professional Saxophone Player
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved saxophone player, Eric Noffz, on January 12, 2026. Eric suffered a devastating, massive stroke, and despite the tireless efforts, we have lost an extraordinary soul. The music was always sweeter when Eric played, as he poured his heart and passion into every performance. Eric was more than a bandmate; he was a friend, a brother, and a son. Eric shared his knowledge of music theory, witty sense of humor, and especially his passion for music. In the midst of unimaginable grief, Eric’s mother has made an extraordinarily generous and selfless decision to donate his organs so that others may live. Even in passing, on January 12, 2026, “Walk of Life at Providence Hospital. This speaks volumes about the love and character of the family he came from. We at Mondo Kane will miss our dear brother in music. We send our prayers and comfort to his mother, Carol, his brother Karl Noffz, and his family. May the cherished memories of your time together bring you comfort. Rest in peace, Eric. From the Mondo Kane Band: Joe Gillis, Joseph Ramon, Phillip Romero, Reuben Romero, Leonard Solano, Sonny W.
