Darrell Honeycutt

His inspiration to play the tenor sax since high school has always come from his idol, Boots Randolph. Darrell began playing the alto saxophone in 4th grade.

After 9th grade, he switched to tenor sax and performed with the high school marching band. Following his graduation in 1978, he played with various country bands. He is also proficient on the alto sax, flute, bagpipes, and harmonica. Darrell also plays a Yamaha MIDI wind controller. He has performed with several other bands, including SaddleRock, Vocal Point, Straight Up, and Legend the Band. In February 2026, Darrell joined Mondo Kane.
